Educational Qualifications

Join Pakistan Army as Captain Applicants must hold one of the following degrees from a recognized university:

• MS/MA/MSc
• BS (Hons)
• LLB
• DVM

Nationality

• Pakistani nationals are eligible to apply.
• Candidates from AJK and Gilgit Baltistan are also encouraged.
• Dual nationality holders must renounce one nationality upon final selection.

Gender

• This opportunity is for male candidates only.

Marital Status

• Both married and unmarried individuals can apply.

Age Limit

• Candidates should not exceed 28 years of age as of May 1, 2025.

Physical Standards

Height

• Minimum height required: 5 feet 4 inches (162.5 cm)

Weight

• Weight must be as per the Body Mass Index (BMI).

Selection Process

1. Online Registration
   • Candidates must register online at joinpakarmy.gov.pk from December 2 to December 31, 2024.
   • Alternatively, registration can be completed at the nearest Army Selection and Recruitment Center (AS&RC).
2. Initial Tests
   • Academic and Intelligence Tests (Multiple Choice Questions) will be conducted at the assigned AS&RC.
3. Physical Test
   • The physical test includes:
     • 1.6 km run: Completed in 9 minutes
     • Push-ups: 10 repetitions in 2 minutes
     • Sit-ups: 10 repetitions in 2 minutes
     • Chin-ups: 2 repetitions in 2 minutes
4. Medical Test
   • Initial medical examination will be conducted at AS&RC.
5. Interview and Final Selection
   • Shortlisted candidates will be called for interviews by the GHQ Selection Board at Karachi, Lahore, or Rawalpindi.
   • Final medical evaluation will be carried out at a Combined Military Hospital (CMH).
6. Military Training
   • Selected candidates will undergo 6 months of training at the Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) Kakul.

1. Original and attested copies of educational certificates and mark sheets.
2. Registration certificate.
3. CNIC or Form-B.
4. Domicile certificate.
5. Six recent passport-sized colored photographs.
